NEW YORK–The first of this year’s two New York Home Fashions Markets formally opens today, as textiles vendors offer new and expanded lineups for the coming season.
Showrooms are part of the news at this week’s market. Alok International will formally open its new showroom at 105 Madison Ave., which—along with featuring its many brands—will highlight merchandise from Next Creations and Raymond Waites-branded product, which Alok acquired earlier this month. This week will also mark the opening of expanded and revamped show space for both Ellery HomeStyles and S. Lichtenberg.
On the product front, basic-bedding resource Downlite will unveil its licensed line of basic bedding under the Pendleton Woolen Mills brand. Pacific Coast Feather is debuting a collection of mattress pads that parallel with the company’s recent opening of its new mattress-pad facility in Gastonia, N.C.
