WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-Surtex has opened online registration for attendees to its show next year, which is scheduled for May 19-21 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Free admission is available for qualified attendees and trade visitors, provided that they register by midnight on May 14, through surtex.com. A statement from GLM, the show’s owner and manager, said Surtex is expected to draw 300 exhibitors and 7,000 attendees.
“The online registration process is streamlined to facilitate sign-up for the show, as well as for the popular Surtex conference program,” said Penny Sikalis, GLM vice president and Surtex show manager. “Early registration ensures that attendees will receive periodic updates of show news, including exhibitors, speakers, activities and events—all designed to produce a successful visit.”
GLM also said more than 50 hotels close to the Javits Center and throughout the city have reserved blocks of rooms at guaranteed reduced rates for show participants, with no advance payment required.
