NEW YORK-Springs Global has reached a license agreement with Celessence Technologies to use the latter’s Celessence Micro-encapsulation on Springs’ Febreze Sleep Serenity bedding collection.
The Febreze collection, consisting of bed pillow, mattress pads and pillow protectors, launched earlier this year, stemming from a license agreement between Springs and Febreze parent Procter & Gamble. Celessence Micro-encapsulation imports fragrance or skin-care actives onto multiple surfaces, including textiles and print, releasing scents and actives through touch, friction or motion.
The Springs-Celessence license also includes the debut of KidScentz, a proprietary line of whimsical juvenile pillows that use Celessence’s library of fragrances. These include watermelon, bubble gum, cupcake and bacon.
