CHICAGO and LAS VEGAS-Protect-A-Bed has opened a new showroom at the World Market Center in Las Vegas, and has unveiled an advertising campaign to appear on London’s underground trains.
Measuring 5,100 square feet and located in room 918 of building B, the showroom features Protect-A-Bed’s entire product lineup “in an interactive, consumer-friendly way,” according to a company statement. The showroom’s centerpiece is the “Protect-A-Bed Experience,” which includes hands-on demonstrations of the company’s product benefits and features. Included in the space are display units currently featured in furniture stores throughout the United States, which provide product information through streaming videos, product samples and demonstrations, and information available for shoppers to take with them.
Protect-A-Bed’s previous World Market Center showroom was in room 925 of building B. A company spokeswoman said the new space is much larger and has greater visibility than the prior showroom.
The London underground campaign is designed to reach the multitudes who are coming to the city for the Olympics, according to a separate statement. The ad, which is placed in more than 2,000 train carriages in the vast tube network, features Protect-A-Bed’s products and a map highlighting the company’s reach in 35 countries (now including India with a recent expansion). It also has a quick-response code which directs people to a television ad highlighting product features and benefits.
The ad will remain during a four-week period that will last for the duration of the Olympics.
