Maison & Objet to Debut U.S. Show

PARIS–The French Maison & Objet show will come to United States with the launch of the Maison & Objet Americas in Miami in May 2015. The show will take place May 12-15, 2015 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, according to a statement from SAFI, a subsidiary of Ateliers d’Art de France and Reed Expositions France, which runs the Paris show.

The American edition of the fair is part of a larger expansion; Maison & Objet Asia will debut next spring in Singapore. It will also forge a link between the Maison & Objet label and the North American, Central American and South American markets, SAFI said. No further information about the American show was available at press time.

Maison & Objet recently wrapped up its fall show in Paris with a slight increase in exhibitors which “confirms the event’s vital role in the sector, despite the slow recovery of the business climate in Europe,” organizers said. The show featured enhanced content and services, a revised layout to promote greater clarity of the product range on offer and more clearly defined pathways for visitors to encourage networking. In addition, the third Paris Design Week, involving 250 participants at 183 Parisian venues in “a trade show fringe event,” was held to boost business and extend creativity into the city.
