NEW YORK–MacKenzie-Childs has relocated its flagship store here and enjoyed a successful grand opening on Black Friday, according to Lee Feldman, CEO of parent company Aurora Brands.

The new store, located on West 57th Street, is on one level and its entry has been designed to resemble the company’s Aurora, NY-based headquarters with a brick floor and wide doorways. Festive holiday trees, assembled from ceramic scraps and other pieces leftover from manufacturing and collected over the year, stand in the entrance to the store. The back of the store features designated nooks for the company’s table linens collections and its assortment of hooks and knobs, and its furniture pieces and tabletop collections are merchandised throughout the entire space.

Ten percent of the store’s Black Friday sales will be donated to the American Red Cross in response to Hurricane Sandy, according to a statement from the company. The donation amount was unavailable at press time.
