NEW YORK–J. Queen New York is expanding its office and showroom space, and has hired Dave Roman as vice president of sales.

The added space, measuring about 3,000 square feet, will approximately double the size of the company’s current space, located at 37 W. 20th St. here.

According to Julie Brady, J. Queen’s president and founder, the new space will include extra offices for the company’s growing staff and added showroom space for its line of comforters, quilts, duvets, decorative pillows, freestanding window treatments and a bath series encompassing shower curtains and decorative accessories.

Roman comes to J. Queen after a 25-year career at Croscill, in which he was also vice president of sales. He has assumed responsibility over J. Queen’s sales in all regions except the East Coast, which is handled by Don Whittam. Both executives report to Brady.
