NEW YORK–July’s Home Textiles Sourcing Expo here brought in more than 1,500 attendees, who visited 132 exhibitors from nine countries, according to a report from Messe Frankfurt North America, manager of the show.
For the second year, the trade show was co-located with Texworld USA and the International Apparel Sourcing Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Messe Frankfurt said that in addition to the 674 attendees who came solely for the Home Textiles Sourcing Expo, another 843 attendees of Texworld indicated during registration that they would visit the Expo. Also, the Expo benefited from “cross pollination” with the two apparel-sourcing shows, especially between the bedding and the sleep/loungeware categories.
The third edition of the Home Textiles Sourcing Expo will take place from July 24-26, 2012, also at the Javits Center.
