NEW YORK-Carl Goldstein, vice chairman of S. Lichtenberg & Co., who passed away on Oct. 19, will be honored at the next annual meeting of the Home Fashion Products Association.
Goldstein’s son, Scott, now president of Lichtenberg, will accept HFPA’s Lifetime Achievement Award on his father’s behalf. Goldstein worked for Lichtenberg from 1976 until his death, serving as senior vice president from 1976 until 2010, and then as vice chairman. He served on the HFPA board of directors beginning in 1971, when it was called the Curtain & Drapery Association, until his passing.
The HFPA annual meeting will also feature an address from Sarah Davanzo, chief cultural strategy officer for sparks & honey, a next-generation cultural identification agency. Davanzo will speak on the future consumer, the world around her and how it is changing, and what that means to vendors of home products.
