GLM'S Kelly Promoted to Sales Manager of NYIGF's General Gift Division
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.--John Kelly has been named sales manager for the General Gift division of the New York International Gift Fair, tasked with developing and executing sales strategies for the Fair's largest division, which includes some 750 exhibitors. Reporting to Christian Falkenberg, NYIGF director and GLM vice president, Kelly succeeds Scott Kramer.
Kelly has been with GLM since 2004, holding sales and operations positions with several shows owned or operated by GLM, including sales manager for The Licensing Gallery @ NYIGF, an annual business-to-business forum. He most recently worked on SURTEX, as well as several GLM-managed events in the hospitality industry (International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show, Las Vegas Hotel & Restaurant Show and the Upper Midwest Hospitality, Restaurant & Lodging Show).
"John's eight years with GLM has provided a solid foundation of experience with tradeshow sales, marketing, management and operations," Falkenberg said. "He has a proven record in setting and exceeding sales goals, which will serve him well in his new responsibilities for General Gift."
