GLM: Interest in American-Made Goods is Growing

       

       

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.–Nearly 25 percent of registrants for next week’s New York International Gift Fair have expressed a specific interest in “Made in the USA” products, said show owner and producer GLM.

“More than 400 of NYIGF’s 2,800+ exhibitors identify themselves as producers of ‘Made in the USA’ products,” said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director and GLM senior vice president. “NYIGF presents an ideal sourcing opportunity for retailers seeking American-made products across the gift, home and lifestyle spectrum.”

Buyers seeking U.S.-produced merchandise can utilize two online tools to source NYIGF exhibitors featuring “Made in the USA” products: the Search NYIGF.com tool on the NYIGF.com website, and the free NYIGF Wayfinder app for mobile devices. Search results can be sorted by product category, NYIGF division and/or NYIGF venue. Searches can be saved and updated in real time, created into a walking list, displayed on a floor plan and accessed via mobile devices.
