NEW YORK–Frette has redesigned its online shopping site, frette.com, to enable customers to purchase the company’s products, especially in locations outside the territories of Frette stores.
The new site is geared to enable shoppers to browse quickly and efficiently. It includes media features such as product zoom, enabling the customer to see the products’ workmanship and details. In a statement, Frette described the look of the site as “at once progressively modern and a tribute to the company’s rich 150-year history, positioning Frette among the elite European luxury brands.
The site is built on the open-source Magento Enterprise platform, which enables the company to build deep integration with its back-office systems, access to merchandising tools and the ability to customize the site to enhance the e-commerce experience.
