MONZA, Italy—Frette has named Laurence Franklin as its new CEO.
Franklin succeeds Jeff Hansen, Frette’s chairman and partner of JH Partners, Frette’s controlling shareholder. Hansen will remain as chairman.
Franklin’s career includes more than 25 years experience in international management with fashion, cosmetics and accessories companies. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Tumi, the luggage and accessories marketer. He has also served as general manager and executive vice president of Unilever’s cosmetics businesses, managed through its Elizabeth Arden division; and as president of Coach Leatherware.
Prior to these positions, Franklin served in finance, accounting and management-consulting posts with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) and Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).
