DALLAS-Dallas Market Center has announced the launch of Christmas HQ, a brand initiative intended to promote Dallas as the “Christmas headquarters” with an expansive collection of Christmas products across the marketplace.
The official launch of Christmas HQ will take place at the January Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, scheduled for Jan. 15-21. The initiative will include a marketing communications program that will highlight Christmas exhibitors and their products, provide trend and business education during the market and via dallasmarketcenter.com/ChristmasHQ, engage through social media with Christmas manufacturers and importers, wholesalers, retailers, product developers, event planners and visual merchandisers.
At the January show, Christmas HQ will feature Christmas-themed displays, product demonstrations, a Christmas party on Jan. 16 at 6 p.m., a “best of show” award to the showroom with the best Christmas merchandising and a “holiday lane” next to the Christmas & Floral section of the Dallas Temp Show.
Bill Winsor, Dallas Market Center’s president and CEO, said the center has hundreds of companies in more than 800,000 square feet that exhibit Christmas product. “If you’re in the business of buying or selling Christmas, you have to be in Dallas,” Winsor said.
