This marks the first time Springs has shown the luxury brand at an international trade show.Joe Granger, president of Springs Branded Businesses, called it “an exciting milestone” as the company seeks to extend the brand’s appeal to retailers, consumers and designers beyond the United States.
Springs is showcasing the brand at Maison & Objet Hall 2, Booth F85.
Featured are the Court of Versailles spring and summer 2010 bedding and bath collections, which will be available to retailers beginning in early February, according to a Springs statement. The designs for this collection portray stylings inspired by Marie Antoinette and her influences on the design at the palace of Versailles, the home of French royalty.
Hermine Mariaux, marketing consultant for the Versailles Foundation, called Maison & Objet “the ideal platform” to present the updated Court of Versailles line, given the show’s proximity to the palace of Versailles.
Springs also said it would present the fall-winter Court of Versailles collection later this year.
