Carpenter Video Garners Two Webby Awards

       

       

RICHMOND, Va.–The “2 Guys, 600 Pillows” video, a production of Carpenter Co. and SleepBetter.org, has received a Webby award and a People’s Voice award from the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

The video—which stars the Internet filmmaking and advertising duo Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal, known as “Rhett & Link”—features the two “Internetainers” with 600 pillows in a music video, and shows what happens when consumers hold on to pillows for too long. In a company statement, Carpenter said the combined views of the video, the “making of” video, bonus footage and other videos associated with this effort has totaled more than 5 million since its launch in September 2010.
