NEW YORK-Brookstone has formed a license agreement with AQ Textiles and Design Weave for the development of the Brookstone Sleep Smart bedding collection.
The line includes sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, comforters, pillow shams and blankets. They are all made with Intellatex technology, which permanently infuses a negative ionic field which bonds to the molecular structure of the cotton in the bedding. Along with this, the products are made with advanced wicking moisture control, both of which provide dry and cool comfort with wrinkle resistance and anti-static qualities, according to a statement from Brookstone’s vice president and general manager of licensing, Douglas Colley.
The Brookstone Sleep Smart collection also includes a basic-bedding component, encompassing mattress pads, down and down-alternative bed pillows, comforters, bed toppers and blankets. The entire collection will be on display at next month’s New York Home Fashions Market.
Later this year, the collection will be available for purchase on brookstone.com and in other department stores and specialty stores. Price points are slated to be announced at a later date.
“This inaugural collection is just the starting point for the Brookstone Sleep Smart line of products,” Colley said. “We will continually work with AQ Textiles and Design Weave to introduce new tech-enabled bedding items.”
