NEW YORK-Attendance at the 7 W New York showroom building during last week’s New York Home Fashions Market rose by more than 15 percent over last year’s spring market, according to MMPI, owner and operator of the building.
A total of 1,600 buyers visited 7 W during the week, including buyers from key retailers across a variety of retail channels of distribution. Each day of last week’s market brought more than 300 buyers to the building, MMPI said.
“The spring home fashions market not only achieved our goals but well surpassed our expectations,” said Chris Collins, 7 W’s vice president and general manager. “For a market that attracts primarily larger retail buyers, it is typically unprecedented to have such significant increases in attendance, which makes this achievement so exciting for the building and our tenants.”
