PBteen Partners with YouTube Star

Vlogger Meg DeAngelis has an exclusive product collaboration with the retailer

SAN FRANCISCO-Williams-Sonoma’s PBteen brand will release an exclusive product collaboration with popular YouTube star Meg DeAngelis, who has the MayBaby channel on YouTube, in January on PBteen.com and in PBteen stores.

With more than 40 items across key categories such as furniture, bedding, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, wall décor and more, the MayBaby by Meg DeAngelis for PBteen collection embodies DeAngelis’ mission to empower and build confidence, which is brought to life through vibrant colors and playful prints, according to a PBteen statement. The collection will range from $18.50 to $1,299.

“I’ve always loved finding ways to make any space feel like my own,” said DeAngelis. “It’s an absolute dream to partner with PBteen and work together on this line. I can’t wait for my viewers to have some fun decorating their own rooms with pieces from this collection.”

The product line is based on an original do-it-yourself series called “Revved Up Rooms,” which stars DeAngelis and debuted in July. From multiplatform media company AwesomenessTV, “Revved Up Rooms” was the first product integration campaign with a home décor brand for AwesomenessTV and PBteen’s first video series featuring a vlogger. Each of the five episodes in the series featured a different DIY project and the videos were viewed millions of times.

“While working with Meg DeAngelis during the AwesomenessTV series we were so impressed by her energetic spirit and ability to captivate fans through her relatable personality,” said Jill LaRue-Rieser, senior vice president, merchandising, for PBteen. “It was a natural fit to extend our relationship with Meg and we’re excited to share this upcoming collection with teens across the country in January.”
