HeimtextilFRANKFURT, Germany-The next Heimtextil trade fair this coming January will offer a significant expansion in the space used to exhibit furniture and decorative fabrics.

According to a statement from Messe Frankfurt, owner and operator of Heimtextil, these segments will be located in “a large area” in Hall 4.0, in addition to Halls 3.0 and 4.1 of Messe Frankfurt. Ulrike Wechsung, Heimtextil director, explained that the space expansion arose to meet the request of several manufacturers of these fabrics that could not exhibit at last year’s show due to insufficient room. Wechsung added that at the 2016 Heimtextil, the relocation of the “Theme Park” to Hall 6 will make it possible to accommodate these manufacturers.

Hall 4.0 will also provide more space for the digital-print segment, which has also been expanding. This area will spotlight digital-print technologies from providers such as Hewlett-Packard, Epson, Durst, Xeikon, Mimaki, MS Printing Solutions, Kornit, Reggiani and MTEX Solutions.

The Designlive area will once again be located in Hall 4.2. It will feature work in home textiles from more than 200 international design studios, Messe Frankfurt said.

Heimtextil is scheduled to take place from Jan. 12-15.
