Piemonte Resigns from Revman
NEW YORK-Diane Piemonte, vice president of creative services at Revman, has resigned to explore new opportunities as an independent consultant and fine artist.
Piemonte, whose home furnishings career began in 1978, had been with Revman since the company’s founding in 1988. She was directly involved in designing all of the company’s products in its early years. As Revman grew, so did its design staff, and Piemonte’s role evolved as design director and administrator, while continuing her other responsibilities for photography, advertising, showrooms and public relations.
Richard Roman, Revman’s president and CEO, said Piemonte “has been an integral part of Revman from the beginning, and we have had a long and successful association.”
Piemonte said, “This was a difficult decision to make, and I will always be grateful to Rich Roman for the unique opportunity he gave me to be a part of forming a new company and helping to establish its design identity. I am very proud of what we achieved over the past 26 years and of my role in its success.”
Piemonte added that she is currently working on several projects in home furnishings and will continue to do so, but intends to pursue her own painting and drawing interests as well.
