Naturepedic Joins EPA Green Power Partnership

Naturepedic joins the EPA Green Power Partnership.

NaturepediclogoCHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio-Organic mattress producer Naturepedic has linked with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Green Power Partnership, part of the company’s ongoing sustainability efforts.

Through its membership of this initiative, Naturepedic pledges to support renewable energy for its operations. The vendor is purchasing renewable energy credits for 100 percent of its electricity use from NativeEnergy, a provider of carbon management services for those entities that wish to reduce their greenhouse gases.

Barry Cik, founder and technical director of Naturepedic, said, “Our business is helping people create healthier, safer indoor environments by providing mattresses without toxic chemicals like chemical flame retardants and phthalates. Every indoor environment, however, is part of the larger world. In supporting well-being, Naturepedic is committed to caring for all environments, inside and out.
