Dollar General Names Harvard's Price to Board
GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn.-Paula Price, senior lecturer at Harvard Business School, has been appointed to Dollar General's board of directors, effective Aug. 26.
Price's election brings the number of Dollar General board members to eight. She will serve on the board's audit committee.
Price has been senior lecturer at Harvard Business School since last month. Prior to that, she was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ahold USA, and before that, senior vice president, controller and chief accounting officer at CVS Caremark.
Earlier in her career, Price was chief financial officer for the institutional trust services division at JPMorgan Chase. She also held senior management positions in the financial-services and packaged-goods industries both in the United States and the United Kingdom.
