German Ecostyle Fair Changes Halls, Extends Length

FRANKFURT, Germany-Ecostyle, the trade fair for verified sustainable consumer goods in the European retail trade, is moving to Hall 9.2 in 2014, so that it will be in the immediate vicinity of Tendence, the international consumer goods trade fair that will be held at the same time.
Show organizer Messe Frankfurt said exhibitors of eco-conscious lifestyle and designer products will benefit from an even greater number of visitors representing the European retail trade. As well as changing halls, Ecostyle will be extended in length, from three to four days. The new dates will be Aug. 30-Sept. 2, 2014.
"Exhibitors and visitors at Ecostyle 2013 confirmed that the general idea of the trade fair had been successful, but said they would have liked it to be in closer proximity to Tendence. By changing to Hall 9.2 we are responding to this request and are expecting greater numbers of exhibitors and visitors in 2014," said Ruth Lorenz, vice president of new events at Messe Frankfurt.
In 2013 environment-conscious lifestyle and designer products were presented by 77 exhibitors, 46 percent of whom came from outside Germany.
