Crystorama Fixtures to Appear on PBS Show

Crystorama fixtures appear on PBS showCrystorama’s Cameron chandelier and sconce in the renovated home
WESTBURY, N.Y.-Lighting company Crystorama will be featured on the PBS lifestyle show “For Your Home” next month, in an episode that features a house that benefits a children’s hospital in Charlotte, N.C.

Set to air Monday, April 6, the “Light It Up” episode spotlights lighting applications in the second-annual For Your Home Philanthropy House, a newly renovated Morrocroft home in Charlotte. Vicki Payne, the host and designer of “For Your Home,” managed every detail of the renovation, turning the 30-year-old house into a contemporary showplace. Payne selected nine lighting fixtures from Crystorama, many of which feature crystals as a central design element.

“We’re very excited about the contribution our lighting makes to the success of this stylish house,” said Ryan Ranzino, vice president of sales, Crystorama, who appears on the episode. “It’s a reminder that when it comes to room design, you should never overlook the impact that lighting can have. The right light can transform a room and is just as important as other key elements that consumers often spend the bulk of their energies on, such as granite countertops.”

The house was originally unveiled to a sold-out crowd on Oct. 9 in a gala event benefitting the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Center at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte. The gala raised more than $18,000 for the center in honor of Libby Jones, who lost her battle with leukemia last spring.
