At Home on Madison Avenue Hosts Events, Benefits BCRF
NEW YORK-Madison Avenue is hosting its first design week, called At Home on Madison Avenue, which runs through Sunday, Oct. 27. Events for the week have included a book signing by noted interior designer, Mario Buatta, at Christofle; tonight, Madura will launch its new "The Good Wife" home collection at a reception with special guest Beth Kushnick, set decorator for CBS' "The Good Wife."
In addition, retailers on Madison Avenue are highlighting pink ribbon lifestyle items and hosting in-store events to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). More than a dozen retailers have designated pink ribbon items for sale including a pink Baccarat butterfly, a Pratesi pink cashmere throw and a Frette pink Donna duvet set. The annual Holiday House NYC 2013 located at 2 East 63rd Street that benefits BCRF as well.
At Home on Madison Avenue participating retailers are Arader Gallery, Asprey, Baccarat, Christian Liaigre, Christofle, Frette, Hastens, Jo Malone, Jonathan Adler, Lalique, Madura, Pratesi, The Shade Store, Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers, VBH and Yves Delorme. It's presented by the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) and Traditional Home magazine.
