Tervis Promotes Trio
NORTH VENICE, Fla.-Tervis has restructured its executive team with promotions in several departments.
Danene Jaffe has been promoted to head of marketing, branding and innovation strategy and Mark Lawson has been promoted to head of engineering, quality and new product development. Both report to President and CEO Patrick Redmond. In addition, Mellisa Allen has been promoted to head of technology, overseeing IT and the Tervis website.
"Tervis has grown exponentially over the last few years in terms of sales, number of employees and brand recognition among consumers," said Redmond. "A large part of that growth is due to trailblazers within our company. Danene, Mellisa and Mark bring an extraordinary amount of talent, experience and creativity to Tervis."
Jaffe joined the marketing department of Tervis at the end of last year as vice president of marketing, brand, innovation and has led cross-functional teams, Tervis said. Previously she worked at Jarden Consumer Solutions as vice president of innovation development.
Lawson joined Tervis in May of last year as vice president of engineering. Lawson spent most of his career working at automotive, medical and consumer product companies, particularly in the areas of new product development and general management.
Allen joined Tervis in 2008, as a department of one, to manage the tervis.com business. The team that Allen now leads has grown to 20.
