Replacements to Celebrate Milestone by Building Habitat House

GREENSBORO, N.C.–Replacements, Ltd. plans to mark the company’s upcoming 30th anniversary by partnering with a family to build a Habitat for Humanity house in Greensboro, N.C., where it is headquartered. One of the largest retailers of old and new china, crystal, silver and collectibles, Replacements believes most of its staff will participate in the three-month project.

“When I was growing up, my father always taught me to share what little we had with our neighbors and I made that lesson one of our guiding values when I started Replacements in my attic three decades ago,” said founder and chief executive officer Bob Page. “I can’t think of a more appropriate way to celebrate our 30-year milestone than living out those values of sharing our success and service to others. I really think this experience will bring all of us here closer as individuals and make us stronger as a company.”

The company plans to kick off this project by breaking ground on the actual date of Replacements’ 30th anniversary, March 17, 2011.
