SMALAND, Sweden–Swedish crystal manufacturer Orrefors has signed a license agreement with fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld for a collection that will launch next spring.

The initial collection, Orrefors by Karl Lagerfeld, will consist of classic Orrefors products such as stemware, votives and giftware that will range between $75 and $1,500.

“Orrefors is excited about the opportunity to collaborate with Karl Lagerfeld and interpret his fantastic ideas into crystal art products,” said Robin Goad, vice president of sales and marketing.

The line will have global distribution and will focus on established retail partners, including department stores, specialty stores and design stores.
