PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.—Gift for the home will be a focus for shoppers this holiday season, according to a statement from The NPD Group.

Among the top-selling home gifts predicted by the research firm are single-serve coffeemakers, massagers, cordless drills, wine glasses, waffle makers, stand mixers, hand tools, men’s electric shavers, cast-iron cookware and electric blankets.

Peter Goldman, president of NPD’s home division, said, “While the tried and true products that are among the top sellers year after year are likely to be at the top once again this year, consumers will also be looking for the things that make their lives a little easier, more comfortable.”
