LEXINGTON, Ky.–Lalique has been named the official trophy provider of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, as well as an official marketing and promotional partner.
The Breeders’ Cup, one of thoroughbred racing’s most prestigious global events, consists of 15 races and more than $25 million in purses. This year’s event will be held at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif., in November.

For the Breeders’ Cup Trophy, Lalique artisans recreated the champion horse in tremendous detail. The mix of clear and frosted crystal, unique to Lalique, portrays movement and depth.
