Housewares Show Nearly Sold Out

ROSEMONT, Ill.-The 2012 International Home + Housewares Show is 97 percent sold out, according to the International Housewares Association, the show's owner and operator.
"The demand for booth space is unprecedented," said Phil Brandl, IHA president. "We view this demand as evidence that the housewares and home goods segment is standing up well in the face of our current economic situation."
Several suppliers are returning to the show after an absence. They include Calphalon, Robinson Home Products/Oneida, Ballarini North America, Inc., Luigi Bormioli Corp., Companion Group, Energizer Household Lighting, ASA USA, Alessi, USA, Inc., Guzzini S.P.A., BlendTec (a division of K-Tec Inc.), OBH Nordica, Oregon Scientific, and Hamelin Enterprises.
High profile companies exhibiting for the first time include Denby and Discover Design exhibitors Eva Solo and Nambe in the Dine + Design Expo; Friedrich Air Conditioning and Kiss Products in Wired + Well; and Nice-Pak Products and Prestige Homewares in the Clean, Contain + Sustain Expo. Other new exhibitors are Bosign, Cooper Coated Coil and George Wilkinson; Design House Stockholm, Kinto and Lunares; Home Skinovations, Neato Robotics and O2 Cool; and Dupont Surface Care, Kyjen, Mercury Luggage/Seward Trunk and T.Z. Case International Corp.
The show takes place March 10 -13, 2012.
