The new license agreement between Isaac Mizrahi and Gibson Overseas has created an additional path for growth for Gibson’s flatware business, the company said.

Since establishing its partnership with Mizrahi and Xcel Brands earlier this year, Gibson has continued to see evidence that flatware is one of the fastest-growing segments of the company’s business.

The new 20- and 45-piece mirror polish sets feature etched, honeycombed, and escutcheoned designs, among others. They were all created for the Mizrahi label ·M and showcase what the company calls “Mizrahi’s gift for timeless and elegant designs.”

The new flatware is part of Gibson’s license for Mizrahi tabletop and housewares that includes dinnerware, cutlery, cookware, bakeware, and gadgets, which Gibson describes as “a bridge between the bridal and housewares markets.”

COMMERCE, Calif.–A new license agreement between Isaac Mizrahi and Gibson Overseas, Inc., has minted new growth for Gibson in flatware, Gibson said. 

 

Since establishing its partnership with Mizrahi and Xcel Brands, Inc., Gibson has seen robust sales stemming from the fashion icon’s eye for flatware. “We credit our new Isaac Mizrahi flatware programs

with the sales spike,” said Grace Saari, brand marketing director. “Flatware has become one of the fastest-growing segments of our business, and retailers are recognizing that the Mizrahi patterns are a perfect fit for fashion-conscious consumers.”
