COMMERCE, Calif.–Gibson Overseas has appointed consumer goods executive Tina Perez vice president of marketing.
Perez, who reports to President Sal Gabbay, manages the companies brands and will identify opportunities for expansion and growth. “We’re pleased to have Tina joining us,” Gabbay said. “Her expertise in marketing to the female consumer will lead Gibson through this Internet era and to the next stage of our planned accomplishments.”
Perez has more than 20 years of marketing experience developing brands and product strategies in the consumer packaged goods industry. She previously worked with companies like Helen of Troy promoting brands such as Vidal Sassoon and Revlon.
“My product and category background is diverse, a perfect fit for our multi-dimensional and fast growing company,” Perez said. “I’m enjoying the challenge and the passion for success, inherent in Gibson’s company culture.”
