NEW YORK–Permanent showroom building Forty One Madison has launched a series of initiatives aimed at interior designers and other decorating professionals.
“So many of the tableware brands represented here at Forty One Madison are of the caliber that interest interior designers, whether they’re specifying for a residence, a yacht, a restaurant, hotel or resort,” said Laurie Burns, senior vice president, director at Forty One Madison. “Our mission is to help build that opportunity for business. We want to offer programming that can better acquaint and familiarize designers with these showrooms, and, in turn, help our Forty One community capitalize on this added potential for sales.”
Veranda magazine has teamed with Forty One Madison to host the first-ever Interior Designer Evening, Oct. 14, 2010, exclusively for metro-New York interior designers. They are invited to visit more than 24 participating showrooms followed by a meet-the-editors reception. In addition, EditorTV, an online broadcast, will feature interviews with show visitors and showroom management, reporting on top tableware finds and favorites.
Forty One Madison will also be a sponsor of the upcoming Holiday House in New York, a fundraiser benefiting the Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Twenty five designers have been tapped to create imaginative and festive tablesettings that the public can view from Dec. 1-15, at 2 East 63rd St. Designers have scouted the showrooms at Forty One Madison for possible products to incorporate in their settings.
