LANCASTER, Ohio–EveryWare Global has signed an exclusive license and promotional agreement with Brazilian television personality Ana Maria Braga in an effort to gain a foothold in the Brazilian tabletop market.
EveryWare said the collection, which will include a full assortment of drinkware, flatware, bakeware and food prep, will be available for sale at retail outlets throughout Brazil, on home shopping channels and through Braga’s website. The collection will be branded with Braga’s name.
Braga is the host of a morning show, “Mais Voce,” which, according to EveryWare, averages 100 million viewers per year and close to five million a day. Braga has also written cookbooks and kitchen-oriented books and is active on social media.
“We are extremely excited to be partnering with Ms. Braga, an icon in the Brazilian market,” said EveryWare CEO John Sheppard. “The partnership with Ms. Braga accelerates our strategic entry into a very large and growing market and demonstrates our commitment to building our international presence.”
EveryWare, which operates an office in Sao Paulo, Brazil, estimates the Brazilian tabletop market to be approximately $1.2 billion and growing.
