Lifetime Brands debuts Guy Fieri dinnerware

NEW YORK–The New York Tabletop Show got underway as color trends gray and blue corresponded with the cloudy, damp fall weather.

Among the news and notables: Lenox celebrated Kate Spade’s 20th anniversary with a slew of new patterns, including the playful and colorful Hopscotch Drive; Lenox also launched an extensive collection with Scalamandre, the decorative fabric and wall coverings maker (Scalamandre’s iconic zebra on a red background figures prominently) … Lifetime Brands is launching Guy Fieri dinnerware; patterns are inspired by  various tattoo art and Fieri’s love of cars, but also includes a few more subtle designs … Gibson is bringing a multilayered approach to its Isaac Mizrahi collection, introducing three new color ways, mix and match components and floral and  textile-inspired designs such as eyelet … There’s only been one official day of market so far, but already I’ve seen lots of birds (as well as bird cages), scrollwork, medallions and lace and lots of concentric circles.—Allison Zisko
