Las Vegas Market to Open with New Showroom Floors, Category Expansions
LAS VEGAS-The launch of three new floors, relocation of temporary exhibits and a series of expanded and re-merchandised gift and home decor resources will redefine the market experience for visitors to the Las Vegas Market, July 29-Aug. 2 at World Market Center Las Vegas.
This growth, according to show organizers, will bring hundreds of new-to-market, upper end gift and home decor lines to the Summer 2013 Las Vegas Market.
"Retailers who haven't been to the Las Vegas Market in the past year will be amazed at the change in size, scope and depth of gift and home decor resources," said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Decor, International Market Centers. "During the last market alone, we added 70 new showrooms, 170 new temporary exhibitors and 230,000 square feet of resources."
Three new floors of gift and home decor resources will debut in World Market Center's Building C this summer: c-ONE will offer a curated collection of iconic gift, tabletop and home resources in permanent and temporary presentations; C4 will extend the market's better home decor and textile resources; and C10 will showcase a cross-category assortment of contemporary gift lines, children's products, fine stationery and letter-press, personal care and wellness, fashion accessories, jewelry, men's gifts, tech accessories, and luggage and travel accessories.
The new c-ONE will offer a concentration of more than 45 key brands on the first floor of Building C. Showcasing directional tabletop and gift and home resources in both permanent and temporary presentations, c-ONE will include anchor resources Alessi USA, Ann Gish, Fatboy USA, Gold Leaf Designs, Jonathan Adler, Magisso North America LLC, Michael Aram, Nine6 and Vietri.
The Las Vegas Market will showcase better home decor and textile resources on C4 beginning this summer. C4 will include anchor resources Andrew Martin International, Cisco Brothers, Luna Bella, Moe's Home Collection, Palecek, Surya and TerraSur. Together, floors C4, C3 and B3 will offer more than 75 home decor vendors within 250,000 square feet.
Other summer market highlights include relocation of the Las Vegas Market's gift and home decor-focused temporary exhibits within Building C. These shifts, which are designed to increase synergies between permanent showrooms and related categories of temporary exhibits, will concentrate the market's more than 400 temporary exhibitors--categorized into 10 distinct, themed product categories--on floors C5 and C11.
The Las Vegas Market also hosts a series of educational programming and networking events. Seminars, which address topics including trends, design, social media and business-building marketing strategies, are free for market participants.
