Williams-Sonoma Sets New Leadership for Brands, Store Experience
SAN FRANCISCO-Williams-Sonoma has brought on board a new executive to oversee the merchandising in the Williams-Sonoma stores, and has slated new roles for three of its senior vice presidents.
David Jimenez has been named senior vice president of visual and store experience for the Williams-Sonoma brand. Jimenez has assumed responsibility for visual merchandising within Williams-Sonoma stores. He has joined the company after serving as vice president of visual merchandising and store design for Hallmark, prior to which he held executive posts with Gap, Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn.
Peter Sassi, who had been senior vice president of inventory management for the Williams-Sonoma brand, has been named senior vice president of stores for the brand. In his new role, Sassi is responsible for developing strategic insights to the in-store experience and with customer relationships.
Jeff Howie, previously senior vice president of inventory management for Pottery Barn and PBteen, has been appointed senior vice president of inventory management and finance for the Williams-Sonoma brand. The company has also expanded the role of John Trifoso, senior vice president of Pottery Barn inventory management, to include the leadership of the inventory management teams for Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen.
