DALLAS–Net sales for Tuesday Morning totaled $194.8 million in its fiscal fourth quarter, down 3 percent from the same period of last year, according to a preliminary statement from the closeout retailer.
Same-store sales for the quarter fell 4.5 percent. For the entire fiscal year, net sales were $821.2 million, off 0.9 percent, with a comparable-store sales drop of 1.2 percent.
Kathleen Mason, Tuesday Morning’s president and CEO, said, “We had a strong increase in ticket early in the quarter. However, June was a particularly challenging month with a decline in both ticket and traffic.”
