Target, Facebook Align for Cartwheel App

       

       

MINNEAPOLIS-Target has joined forces with Facebook for the Cartwheel app, which provides savings on a variety of products.

Users can access the app by finding cartwheel.target.com on their computer, tablet or mobile device. They can then search for offers on products available in Target stores, and add favorite items to their Cartwheel list. A red check then appears in the corner of the offer card once the item has been added, and the user can then purchase the item.

Users can either print the Cartwheel barcode from their desktop computer or use their mobile devices in the store to access the barcode. The barcode can then be presented to a cashier in the store at checkout, who then scans the barcode to redeem the Cartwheel offer on the item.

Users can also share these deals with their Facebook “friends.” The more active a user is in redeeming, saving and inviting friends to join Cartwheel, the more benefits he or she receives.
