NRF Debuts Retail Insight Center

       

       

WASHINGTON-The NRF Foundation, the careers and education division of the National Retail Federation, has introduced the Retail Insight Center (research.nrffoundation.com), a website dedicated to researching industry, government, economic and consumer trends within the retail industry.

The site features analysis and highlights of NRF’s consumer spending surveys; key government indicators that relate to the economy, retail and employment; and other data sets dealing with retailers. In addition, the center will serve as a conduit for the NRF Foundation’s quarterly reports on industry topics, which will be available for site visitors to download. These reports will offer in-depth views at research surrounding industry issues and trends.

Ellen Davis, executive director of the NRF Foundation, said, “The Retail Insight Center will offer retailers, the media and consumers instant access to some of the most important trends in retail careers and employment, holiday spending and insights into key economic indicators and influencers impacting consumers’ spending plans.”

In its statement announcing the new site, NRF credited KPMG, the audit, tax and advisory firm, for making the Retail Insight Center possible with a contribution.
