MOORESVILLE, N.C.-Lowe’s has promoted Gregory Bridgeford to chief customer officer and Rick Damron to chief operating officer.
Bridgeford, previously executive vice president of business development, has now assumed charge over customer-experience design, merchandising, marketing and communications, digital interfaces and pricing and promotion. Damron, who was executive vice president of store operations, is now responsible for store operations, sales and service fulfillment, product fulfillment, real estate and facilities, and loss prevention and safety. Both executives report directly to Robert Niblock, chairman, president and CEO.
Both executives have long-standing careers with Lowe’s. Bridgeford joined the home-improvement retailer in 1982, serving in marketing, merchandising, business development and strategic planning. Damron has been with Lowe’s since 1981, and has served in a number of store-operation and logistics roles.
