TORONTO-Lowe’s Canada has created three new executive positions in a reconfiguration of its corporate leadership.
The company has hired Nick Padovano as head of operations and supply chain. Padovano oversees store operations, store support, supply-chain functions, commercial and installed sales, and distribution.
Also, Igor Halencak has been appointed head of merchandising and marketing. Halencak is responsible for the company’s merchandising and marketing strategies, and its planogram facility.
Tony Tutolo has been named head of finance and administration. Tutolo is in charge of Lowe’s Canada’s finance, loss-prevention and information-technology functions, project management and merchandising support.
All three executives report to Sylvain Prud’homme, president of Lowe’s Canada.
Before joining Lowe’s Canada, Padovano was senior vice president of store operations at The Bay/Lord & Taylor, part of Hudson’s Bay Co. In his most recent role, Halencak was senior vice president of home and hardlines for Sears Canada. Tutolo was vice president of finance, risk and information Technology at the Beer Store and Brewer’s Distributed Limited.
