CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.-Ikea has begun the third year of its Life Improvement Project, a program designed to offer consumers ideas and inspiration to help them make a positive impact on their homes and lives.
Throughout this year-long campaign, Ikea is encouraging consumers to share what they do to improve their lives at home, as well as learning tips on life improvement from others. Consumers are invited to submit their ideas and share ideas from others on the program’s website, thelifeimprovementproject.com.
To submit a project, contributors choose a room in their home, write a short blurb and share photos or videos. From these submissions, the site will build a virtual “life improvement house,” through which site visitors can browse for inspiration and mark and share favorite concepts.
For each projected submitted or shared, Ikea will donate $1 (up to $50,000) to Save the Children’s Early Steps for School Success, a program that serves children in need throughout the nation. In addition, the initiative will offer consumers weekly and monthly opportunities to win Ikea gift cards.
