NEW YORK-Brad Hutensky, president and principal of Hutensky Capital Partners, has been elected chairman of the International Council of Shopping Centers for the 2012-2013 term.
Hutensky, who took his new role on May 21, succeeded David B. Henry, president, CEO and vice chairman of Kimco Realty Corp. He joined ICSC in 1988 and has served as eastern division vice president and co-chairman of the committee on open-air centers. He is a member of ICSC’s employment and retirement committee and has twice served as state officer. His other ICSC committee assignments include the government relations advisory committee, the executive committee to the board of trustees and the RECon advisory committee, which works on ICSC’s RECon annual meeting.
Hutensky Capital Partners is a real-estate fund management group that invests in major-market retail assets.
