NEW YORK–Keith George has been promoted to senior vice president, men’s and home, at Gilt, effective immediately. He reports to CEO Michelle Peluso, who herself joined the company in February. He succeeds Jason Goldberger, who left the company in February.
George was previously general manager of Gilt’s men’s business, and before that, vice president of merchandise planning, where he managed inventory investments for all Gilt businesses. He joined Gilt in February 2011.
In his new position, George will be responsible for driving revenue and innovation through a cross-functional team of merchandising, marketing, technology, operations and creative professionals.
George’s retail and operations experience includes work with such brands as Gap Inc., Coca-Cola Enterprises, UPS and Ernst & Young.
