Gilt Launches First Television Ad Campaign
NEW YORK-Online shopping destination Gilt launched its first television campaign yesterday, with the airing of two 30-second spots on national cable networks. In one spot, called "High Noon," two women compete for a pair of high heels in a tongue-in-cheek, Western duel, while in "Taxi," a stylish woman in the back of a taxi goes through multiple outfit changes with her Gilt purchases.
Both commercials will air on such national cable networks as HGTV, Oxygen, TLC, Style, Logo, E! and Lifetime.
"Over the last five years Gilt has enjoyed tremendous growth and we are confident that this television campaign will drive continued brand awareness while providing entertainment for viewers," said Elizabeth Francis, chief marketing officer, Gilt.
In conjunction with the new ads, Gilt.com members will have access to a sale with merchandise inspired by the commercials by logging onto gilt.com/tv.
