LONDON–French members-only website vente-privee.com has teamed up with American Express to launch vente-privee in the U.S. later this year.
Through its partnership, American Express will provide vente-privee.com with access to its almost 40 million members in the U.S., along with its know-how of the American market.

Sales last from two to four days and offer discounts of up to 70 percent in such categories as fashion, home, sports products and electronics.
“Bringing the vente-privee.com business model to the U.S. with an outstanding partner that shares our commitment to quality was a critical choice for us,” said Jacques-Antoine Granjon, CEO and founder, vente-privee.com. “The brands where we have strong relationships are excited about extending their offerings into the U.S. market through this partnership and there is no question that American Express was our partner of choice.”
Dan Schulman, group president, Enterprise Growth, American Express, added, “This partnership brings together two brands that are committed to creating e-commerce opportunities in ways that benefit both consumers and businesses, have a heritage in the luxury market and place a high premium on delivering quality customer service.
