HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.–Chris Capuano, senior vice president and president of home fashions at Sears Holdings, has left the company, according to a company spokeswoman.
John Goodman, executive vice president of apparel and home, has assumed Capuano’s duties on an interim basis, reporting directly to Sears Holdings’ president and CEO, Lou D’Ambrosio. The spokeswoman said a search has begun for Capuano’s replacement. No reason was given for Capuano’s departure.
Capuano joined Sears Holdings in January, overseeing the leadership and in-store and online merchandising of home fashions for both Sears and Kmart. Prior to this appointment, she served as executive vice president and general merchandise manager of home and footwear for Kohl’s, and in home products-related executive posts for Federated Merchandising Group and Macy’s.
